Brownie's new life

From her rescuer: Hi! You probably won't remember us, but a couple of years ago you stepped in to help with the vet bills for a dog that we found at a boat ramp along the highway. She was quite sick and we were facing a substantial vet bill. We were not ready to take on another pet at that time, especially one that was going to cost so much. You agreed to help with the bills if we would give her a home, but at that time we weren't sure about her temperament or if she would get along with our other dogs, so we agreed to at least keep her until we could find her another home. So she received the medications she needed, and we became attached. Today, she is healthy and happy and loving life with us and our other two dogs. She owes her life to you, so I just wanted you to know that what you put into her was not in vain. She was given that second chance that so many others out there don't get. I just wanted to say "thank you" once again for what you did for her. I've attached a photo so you can see how she looks today. Andrea L*****

Sadie's new home...

Sadie wandered into someone's yard. The kind people that took her in temporarily put out posters and did everything they could to try to help Sadie get back home. Sadly, nobody claimed Sadie. Another lady and her husband agreed to foster Sadie for a short time. Sadie was just a puppy when she was found and most know that puppies, especially lab puppies are in to everything. They would crate her when they had to go somewhere, but she would try to get out of the crate and would almost succeed. The foster parents called and said they could no longer keep Sadie. Upon that declaration, it was as if Sadie understood. She went immediately to her foster dad, jumped in his lap and buried her little head under his arm. That was all it took. Sadie has remained in her foster parents home for two years now and they love her dearly.
